FAQ
Q: Do you offer manual transmission (MT) vehicles?
A: We know there is a passionate group of sports car enthusiasts who would love to experience these winding roads with a manual transmission. However, all of our vehicles are Automatic Transmission (AT) .
We made this choice for a few important reasons:
-
Accessibility for Everyone: Our goal is to make these amazing drives accessible to the widest market possible. We want anyone who dreams of a fun, immersive driving experience against the backdrop of Mount Fuji to be able to jump in and enjoy it without worrying about a stick shift.
-
Staffing & Logistics: To keep our operations running smoothly, our team needs to be able to handle any vehicle at a moment's notice—whether that's delivering a car, moving it for maintenance, or assisting you on the road. Finding staff with manual licenses has become increasingly difficult.
-
Market Availability: Manual cars are becoming rare. Today, only about 1.5% of all new cars sold in Japan are manual. Furthermore, roughly 68% of new drivers in Japan now opt for an "Automatic-Only" restricted license.
By keeping our fleet automatic, we ensure that our entire team can support you instantly if anything happens on the road, while opening up the joy of driving these spectacular routes to everyone!
